  • Overnight: Authentic Riad in the Fes Medina.

Day 4:The Heart of Morocco (Guided Tour of Fes)

As we cross the mountains, the lush green fades into the dramatic, palm-lined canyons of the Ziz Valley. Arriving in Merzouga by late afternoon, you will leave your luggage in the 4×4 and mount a camel for a trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi exactly as the sun sets.

Prepare to be dwarfed by the Todra Gorges, where massive limestone river canyons create 300-meter-high sheer rock walls. We finish the day winding through the striking “Monkey Fingers” rock formations of the Dades Valley.
